Whether you watched Sunday's match against Arsenal in grainy black and white, plain old standard definition, stunning high definition, or realistic 3D, as a United supporter it was all the same. The most beautiful thing in the world, like a bride on her wedding day.
Playing the free flowing, counter-attacking football that Red Devil fans have been yearning for this season, there is belief that United can now go on to mount a serious title push.
With the likes of Nani finally stepping up to the challenge at Old Trafford and Rooney banging in the goals for fun, many United fans whom were once a bit skeptical about this year's squad are now having an about face.
Throughout the season the squad has shown flashes of brilliance that were then followed by lapses in concentration. However, recently the level of performances have been consistent, and with majority of the team getting back to fitness, belief has returned to the North West of England.
The back five are allowing fewer chances and goals against, the midfield is beginning to boss games, and goals have been flowing in recent performances. United appear to be back to a team that can find consistency in the latter portion of the season and pressure the leaders.
Chelsea have players returning from the African Nations Cup, solidifying their squad and providing the depth they will need in the run in. With the return of the Champions League this month all hands on deck will be needed for both teams to stay at the summit of the Premiership.
It appears to be a two horse race from here as many had predicted. Knowing the winners that are in both sides, it should be a very tight and entertaining race to the finish. There will be many twists and turns along the way, so enjoy the ride!!!
